KenPHIA: March 12,13
On March 12 and 13 Frontier Science held an on-site training in Kisumu, Kenya on behalf of KenPHIA. The KenPHIA study continues the PHIA incidence and prevalence study in Africa. This study is sponsored by ICAP in coordination with CDC-Kenya and the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS). Click here to view more information on ICAP in Kenya.
NAIIS: May 17,18
In may Frontier Science was in Abuja, Nigeria to hold an on-site training for NAIIS. The NAIIS study is another continuation of PHIA sponsored by the University of Maryland-Baltimore in coordination with the CDC. As in the other PHIA studies the LDMS will be used to track specimens from the field to the central lab, which also utilizes LDMS, for long term storage and testing.
