Frontier Science Foundation is proud to announce the release of LDMS for the Web version 9.0. Below is a full list of changes for this release.

Full Release Notes

New Features:

  • Users can now enter future dates in Draw Date, Processing Date, and both Frozen Date fields (R-22195)
  • Users can now ‘deactivate’ items so they are hidden from prepopulated drop down lists (R-28995)
  • Users can now log back in directly from the locked out page (R-29940)
  • Users can now toggle the Auto Assign Position setting in the storage module without having to enter the administration menu (R-30261)
  • Added ability for samples to be corrected directly from the validation error page when shipping (R-30737)
  • Project Administration module now allows the user to set formats or acceptable values for ID1, ID2, and ID3 when defining and setting up new internal projects and studies (R-31090)
  • Shipment/storage boxes now sort by Fill Order position instead of LRTB position (R-31263)
  • A history record is now created when a run is reviewed (R-31633)
  • System now informs user when a box is outside max 26x26 dimensions (R-32697)
  • Now possible to generate labels for primary samples even if there are aliquots entered (R-32837)
  • Labs can now change the default number of results per page on the sample picker window using the Administration tab (R-33324)
  • New feature added to shipping module to bulk update the condition code and add a comment for all samples on a shipped or received batch (R-33561)
  • Custom Report Builder filters now allow wildcard values (R-33613)
  • Custom Report Builder can now give aggregate counts (R-33615)
  • When scanning items, Web LDMS will remain active and will not ask if the user needs more time (R-33637)
  • Additional optional fields added to standard Web LDMS CSV shipping file for import (R-33849)
  • A warning occurs when adding samples to a batched container that the user will also add samples to the batch (R-34113)
  • Removed ATN repository report and ATN report category (R-34131)
  • User can now see a listing of all specimens on the shipment during the receive shipment process and mark some or all specimens as unavailable (R-34134)</span>
  • VTN1 label format no longer appears in the LDMS menus (R-34216)
  • Web LDMS identifies specimens by global specimen ID to allow users to easily fix issues with enrollments (R-34280)
  • ID1 values can no longer be changed from the ID1 level if it will result in a record merge (R-34339)
  • Protocol type no longer shown next to the protocol name in Specimen Management, Quick Add or Quick Add Templates (R-34355)
  • ID2 field can now be blank for CSV and XLIMS files (R-34397)
  • Aliquots created from Quick Add are created in the same order that they appear in the Quick Add aliquot grid (R-34450)
  • Max length of Other Test Name now restricted in Quick Add and Assign Tests (R-34469)
  • Character limit added to Make Copy button name field in In Quick Add Templates (R-34478)
  • Edit Primary Specimen window in Quick Add Templates now allows the user to specify a Tube Count (R-34513)
  • Assigned Test now available in Custom Report Builder (R-34532)
  • “Include labels for unavailable primaries” checkbox now hidden when printing labels for pending/historical shipments (R-34535)

  • Edit ID2 button and its dropdown list are now disabled when there is no enrollment entered for a patient (R-31259)
  • Fixed error that appeared in Quick Add Templates (R-31875)
  • Quick Add Template save button now only needs to be clicked once (R-32386)
  • Fixed bug where PID dropdown list in QuickAdd would not open (R-33815)
  • Errors from imported CSV files now show correct line numbers (R-34035)
  • Fixed issues with checkboxes in regards to storage move features (R-34171)
  • Sent Shipment Specimen Count comparison query now treats boxes with the same name on the same shipment as the same (R-34213)

  • Filtering sample chooser no longer allows users to select too many samples (R-35759)
  • Added support for importing draw dates with null times using the XLIMS file format (R-21755)
  • Primary co-enrollments are now shown and un-aliquoted primaries are shown without their aliquots in the Specimen Log Report (R-34101)
  • MWCCS Processing Log report now uses the AvailableVolume of the primary sample instead of the aliquot (R-35681)

Frontier Science Account Manager Utility

  • Utility now lists how many days have passed since an account was used. Additionally, there is a new option to flag accounts that have not been accessed in X number of days (R-28741)
  • Fixed bug on Select Patches page where not all patches are displayed (R-33683)
  • Labs currently operating are prioritized when running patches (R-34063)
  • User accounts not activated within 30 days are marked as disabled (R-34086)
  • Fixed issue where ‘re-enable account’ message would sometimes appear when not applicable (R-34440)
  • Fixed issue with timing out when attempting to delete accounts in Account Manager (R-34544)
  • New column added to Accounts table in the Account database to track when users log in and out (R-34537)
