Using spreadsheet view

When storing PK assay results in LDMS, you can copy and paste results directly from a spreadsheet.

Before you begin

  • Set up the PK assay run and open the Preview tab.
  • Open the results in your spreadsheet program.
  • Change N/A and empty values in your spreadsheet to -1.
  • Adjust your spreadsheet so that the columns and order of rows match LDMS.

About this task

There are two ways to enter PK results in LDMS: by selecting individual specimens and manually entering the results, or by copying and pasting them from a spreadsheet. Using the later method can save time and help avoid data entry errors. In order to copy and paste results from a spreadsheet, the spreadsheet must have columns and rows that match the order in which they appear in LDMS. There are two formats this can take:

  • one row for each specimen tested, with individual analytes results in separate columns (multiple result columns)
  • one row for each specimen and analyte combination tested (one result column)
